KALESMA SPA

Kalesma Mykonos is a project whose ceaseless tendencies for growth and evolution are in the very core of it’s identity.
In summer 2024, after months in the making, the arrival of the all-new spa is a reality.
Aiming to create a space that will blend seemingly with the pre-existing common spaces of the hotel, the composition of the KALESMA SPA originated from the interior study vocabulary inspired by studio Bonarchi that gave birth to this iconic resort.
The Spa embraces the hotel’s remarkable color palette, featuring strong contrasts. Dark combed stone veneers, that resemble the suites’ bamboo headboards, are paired with white surfaces, creating an ideal backdrop to showcase the organic forms and dynamic geometries of the space. Natural authentic materials like oak and granite coexist with traditional techniques of the island, such as white plaster coating the walls, giving them a patina-like finish.
A prominent feature in the spa is the element of water, with the striking Apparatus pendant light reflecting on its nearly glass-like surface.
Delicate treatments from local artisans here and there add a unique artistic value to the project.
The Kalesma Mykonos Spa . A place where light, mingled with it’s derivative shadow can create environments, atmospheres and sensations.
